Do you need a guide for Langarica Canyon?

Are the Benja Thermal Baths hot?
The waters are lukewarm, not piping hot. The temperature averages between 22°C and 30°C year-round. This makes them ideal for long, comfortable soaks.
How long is the hike through Langarica Canyon?
The canyon itself stretches 4.5 to 5 kilometers. Most visitors hike for 1 to 2 hours into the narrow gorge before turning back.
What should I wear to Langarica Canyon?

Is it safe to hike Langarica Canyon?
It is safe during the summer months when water levels are low. It is highly dangerous during or after heavy rain due to flash flood risks.

The canyon is located approximately 14 kilometers southeast of Përmet city center. The final stretch of the road includes some unpaved but manageable sections.

Are there changing rooms at Benja Thermal Baths?
No, there are no changing rooms, toilets, or maintenance facilities at the baths. Visitors must change in their vehicles or wrap themselves in a towel.
What is the best time of year to visit Langarica Canyon?
